March 30, 2009 – MatrikonOPC released an OPC troubleshooting utility. MatrikonOPC Analyzer is a free utility used to find common OPC problem areas and backup important OPC-related files. Used by support technicians at MatrikonOPC for years, this software is now being made available to the public. “When troubleshooting OPC issues, there are a multitude of bases that initially need to be covered. This utility quickly produces a system snapshot that can be instantly checked for common issues.

This significantly cuts down on the time it takes to check the most common OPC problem areas, saving time and money,” said Sean Leonard, VP OPC products at Matrikon.
