December 8, 2015 — Matrox Imaging announced that developers of high-resolution 3D surface inspection solutions based on Chromasens’ 3DPIXA stereo line scan camera, Corona II illuminator and CS-3D software can source all additional system components from Matrox Imaging.
The Matrox Radient eV-CL Camera Link frame grabber and Matrox Imaging Library (MIL) vision software capture image data from the Chromasens camera. The raw data is then passed on to the CS-3D software, which generates the corresponding height map and color image using the massive parallel processing capability of a GPU. The MIL software processes and analyzes the height map and color image for detailed 2D and 3D surface inspection. Matrox Supersight Solo hosts the third-party GPUs needed to run the CS-3D software.
