MIDDLEBORO, Mass. —July 2005—Effective immediately, Rick Lamanna, Measurement Computing’s former Vice President of Software Engineering has been promoted to Vice President of Engineering. He will be taking over the responsibilities of Hardware Engineering from Bob Judd, Measurement Computing’s new General Manager. The new organizational structure will better coordinate hardware and software engineering operations to expedite new product development. With Mr.
Lamanna overseeing the entire engineering efforts, Mr. Judd will have more time to focus on the overall operation of Measurement Computing.Mr. Lamanna has BSEE from Roger Williams University, plus extensive experience in data acquisition, test systems design, and software development.
He stated, “I am very excited to become involved with overall product development and to be working with the talents in both hardware and software engineering to design and develop new products driven by creative ideas.”Mr. Judd has an engineering degree from Brown University, and an MBA from MIT Sloan. He remarked, “It is gratifying to know that MCC engineering is in such capable hands.
