August 13, 2009 - Measurement Technology NW released the LCI-80 smart display, a replacement for panel meters and analog gauges. The LCI-80 is a smaller, less expensive version of the LCI-90. The electroluminescent display, a technology originally built for military jet fighters, can be seen in direct sunlight with a 170 degree viewing angle, making the LCI-80 great for outside use and in-cab operations. DynaWinch, a world-wide leader in the wireline industry, is working with the LCI-80 to view the speed and payout of the winches on their slickline trucks. “The LCI-80 is compact, fast, easy to work with, and very readable.
