April 17, 2014 - MicroPower Direct releases MG200MHI compact, 2W DC/DC converters approved to both EN 60950 and EN 60601. They are specifically designed to meet stringent isolation, reinforced insulation and low leakage requirements. Fifteen models operate from 5, 12 and 24 VDC inputs, providing single and dual outputs of 5, 12, 15, ±12, or ±15 VDC. Standard features include an input/output isolation of 4,000 VAC rms, 2 µA maximum leakage current, and tight regulation.
The MTBF (per MIL HDBK 217F) of the MG200MHI series is greater than 2.0 Mhours. All models are fully approved to EN 60950 and EN 60601 safety standards. The series is RoHS compliant. All MG200MHI series models are packaged in a miniature surface mount case.
The pin-out is industry standard. Each model is specified for operation over the wide operating temperature range of -25°C to +80°C (ambient). The MG200MHI series is an ideal solution for a variety of industrial equipment applications requiring high isolation levels, compact packaging and safety/medical approvals.
