April 5, 2016 - MicroPower Direct introduces MH300RW 3W DC/DC converters that are packaged in a miniature 0.55 x 0.55 inch MiniDIP case, with an industry standard pin out.

These converters are specifically designed to provide the power, tight regulation, wide input range, I/O isolation and safety approvals required for a wide range of applications in a space saving, miniature package.

Twenty eight models operate from wide 5 VDC (4.5V - 9V), 12 VDC (9V - 18V), 24V (18V - 36V) or 48V (36V - 75V) 2:1 inputs, providing tightly regulated outputs of 3.3, 5, 12, 15, ±5, ±12 or ±15 VDC. Standard features include line/load regulation less than 1.0%, input/output isolation of 1,500 VDC and high efficiency.

All models are protected for output short circuit faults and output over current faults. The MTBF (per MIL HDBK 217F) is greater than 3.5 MHours. All models are approved to EN 60950.

The MH300RW family is packaged in a miniature 0.55 x 0.55 inch MiniDIP case, with an industry standard pin out. Operation for all models is specified over the wide, industrial, operating temperature range of -40°C to +80°C. Cooling is by free-air convection.

The MH300RW series is an ideal choice for a wide variety of board level power distribution applications requiring a full featured power converter (wide inputs, tight regulation, I/O isolation, etc.) that does not require excessive board space.
