January 20, 2010 — Microscan dedicated its satellite facility, the Northeast Technology Center, in Nashua, NH. The company invited a select group of key customers and media to attend a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the dedication of the Technology Center.Microscan’s Northeast Technology Center augments the company’s high-powered engineering and technical research and development capabilities.
The approximately 20,000 sq. ft. facility is currently dedicated to R&D for machine vision, machine vision lighting, direct part mark reading, and verification. The staff at the facility includes four PhDs. Additionally, the Center features engineering labs, a training facility and a comprehensive product demonstration room.
“The northeastern United States has a rich history for cutting edge technology stemming from major colleges and institutions such as MIT.
