Midwest Motion Products of Watertown, Minnesota, is pleased to announce the release of a new Brushless DC Gear Motor / Brake, the Model No. MMP-B23-150H-24V GP52-035 BR-005. With Hall Cell Commutation, this robust Gear Motor measures just 2.3” in Diameter, by 9.2” long, and has a keyed output shaft of 12mm diameter by 25mm long.
Easy mounting is accomplished with 4 “face mount” M5 threaded holes, equally spaced on a 40mm Diameter B.C.The output of the gearmotor is rated for 16.4 Nm continuous torque, at 100 RPM, and 18.0 Nm Peak.
Despite it’s compact size and weight, the Motor is an efficient design, requiring just 8.5 Ampere at 24 Volts DC to generate its Full Load Output Torque. Optional 12 & 36 Volt windings are available. This unique design is rated at an “IP 54” protection level for operation in harsh environments. Samples are available FROM STOCK for rapid prototyping needs.
Fully Compatible Brushless Servo Amplifiers are also available from STOCK. The integral Failsafe Brake also operates from 24 VDC.Typical options available with this Servo Motor include integral Optical Encoders, Analog Tachometers, and Planetary Gear heads, with standard ratios ranging from 3:1 to 450:1.
