Accepting any 24 Volt DC source, including battery power, this robust reversible Gear Motor is rated for 61 Nm continuous torque, at 43 RPM, and 100Nm Peak. The Integrally mounted Failsafe Brake requires 24V DC Power, and features a (motor) holding torque of 15 in.-lb.

August 9, 2006 - Midwest Motion Products of Watertown, Minnesota, is pleased to announce the release of a new DC Gear Motor, the Model No. MMP-S28-400A GP81-046 BR-015. Accepting any 24 Volt DC source, including battery power, this robust Gear Motor measures 3.2” max Diameter, by 13.3” long, and has a keyed output shaft of 19mm diameter by 49mm long.

Easy mounting is accomplished with 4 “face mount” M-6 threaded holes, equally spaced on a 65mm B.C. Diameter. The output of this reversible gearmotor is rated for 61 Nm continuous torque, at 43 RPM, and 100Nm Peak. The integrally mounted Failsafe Brake requires 24VDC Power, and features a (motor) holding torque of 15 in.

-lb. Motor windings for 36, 48, 60 & 90 Volts are available. This unique design is rated at an “IP 54” protection level for operation in harsh environments. Variable speed is accomplished with our fully compatible Speed Control, Model MMP 25A-24V.

Samples are available FROM STOCK for rapid prototyping needs. Typical options available from the company include Servo Motors with integral Optical Encoders, Analog Tachometers, and Planetary Gear heads, with standard ratios ranging from 3:1 to 450:1, and standard or low backlash precision gearing available.
