September 3, 2014 – Migatron releases RPS-409A-2P Ultrasonic Sensor for detecting fluid levels iof bulk solids or liquids in all sorts of applications. The RPS-409A-2P uses ultrasonic technology to measure distances ranging from 3 inches to 144 inches. All of the electronics are tightly sealed in a PVC housing that’s threaded for easy mounting in a 2-inch NPT opening. (A model that fits 1½ inch NPT openings is also available.) The sensor includes short circuit protection, reverse polarity protection and temperature compensation.
If set points are required, Migatron offers control products which are sold separately. Models are available to measure three different distance ranges: 3 to 40 inches, 6 to 80 inches and 10 to 144 inches. Each range can be ordered with either a 4-20mA analog current output or 0-10V analog voltage output.
