The MDWI08 family of DC-DC converters consists of 14 models offering 9‐36 or 18‐75 VDC input ranges with single output models ranging 3.3 – 24 VDC and dual output models ±12V or ±15V delivering 8 Watts of output power.

June 22, 2017 - MINMAX announced the MDWI08 series of 8W Isolated / Regulated DC‚ÄêDC Converters with in a16 pin DIP package measuring 0.94 x 0.54 x 0.31”, offering a power density up to 50W/in3. This level of integration offers system designers the opportunity to reduce overall PCB layout area or add more features into existing PCB profiles.

The MDWI08 family of DC-DC converters consists of 14 models offering 9‚Äê36 or 18‚Äê75 VDC input ranges with single output models ranging 3.3 – 24 VDC and dual output models ±12V or ±15V delivering 8 Watts of output power. All models feature: I/O Isolation of 1500VDC; average efficiency up to 86%; operating ambient temperature range of ‚Äê40°C to +80°C (with derating > 70°C with no forced air cooling

required); faster start‚Äêup; fully regulated outputs; no minimum load requirement; shielded metal package; built‚Äêin EMI filter that meets EN55022/32 Class A without additional filtering required; and under‚Äêvoltage / overload / short‚Äêcircuit protection. All models have been qualified per the CB scheme with safety approvals to UL/cUL/IEC/EN 60950‚Äê1 and UL/cUL/IEC/EN 623368‚Äê1 standards.
