Support Connect enables administration, predictive maintenance and remediation of remotely managed assets without an upfront investment in data center hardware.

September, 22, 2011 - Mitsubishi Electric Automation announced Support Connect, a Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) remote connectivity subscription service that enables Mitsubishi Electric Automation customers to better serve their end-users through simple and secure remote-based services solution. Designed to meet the needs of machine manufacturers, value-added resellers and end-user service organizations, Support Connect enables cost effective administration, predictive maintenance and remediation of remotely managed assets without an upfront investment in datacenter hardware, and ongoing infrastructure maintenance. Support Connect allows service/support resources to concentrate on serving their customers instead of managing the connectivity between companies.

“We recognize that our OEM customers and VAR partners are constantly striding to increase customer satisfaction and service levels to their customers, while in parallel looking for avenues to generate value-added recurring revenue streams to post product sales.” said Sloan Zupan, Mitsubishi Electric Automation Senior Product Marketing Manager. “Support Connect meets these needs by enabling our customers, and their end customers to achieve greater visibility, performance, and sustainability of remotely located production floor assets and applications in a cost efficient means.
