This Stainless Steel computer is the smallest, fully sealed, plant floor ready computer available and is specifically designed for daily washdown on the production floor. The PowerBox is available with Intel’s Pentium M processor at 1.1Ghz or 1.6Ghz, providing P4 throughput with cool running operation.
Modular’s armored resistive touchscreen is scratch and cut resistant, impervious to water and can be operated with or without gloves. The PowerBox is available with either a 15” or 17” LCD display. Overall depth is less than 6”.
Memory and communications can be configured to include up to 4 USB 2.0 Ports, dual 10/100 LAN, wireless LAN, and Solid State Disk Drives.Modular’s unique cable entry box provides quick access to standard I/O connectors; yet seal the PowerBox from wet environments. The Compression Box allows ‘tool-less’ access; allowing a quick swap out for failed field devices like keyboards, scan guns and printers.The PowerBox is perfect platform for HMI, SPC and MES applications on the plant floor.
