The LVCM-032-076-02 Linear Voice Coil Motor has a stroke length of 2.5 in. (63.5 mm) with a force-to-size ratio of 1.8 lb (8.0 N) and a peak force of 5.7 lbs. (25.3 N) at 10% duty cycle.
This low inertia, high acceleration, brushless, linear DC motor has zero cogging and features accuracy and repeatability when operated in a closed loop as a DC servo motor.
Integrated into new and existing applications the motor features a 10-32 UNC-2B threaded mounting hole in the center of the housing and two 6-32-UNC-2B threaded mounting holes on the coil end. The 1.250 in. (31.8 mm) diameter LVCM-032-076-02 Linear Voice Coil Motor which is also called a moving coil motor is ideal for: Medical devices, scanners and laser beam steering and filtering, work holding and clamping, assembly, testing, laser machining and drilling, wafer handling, optical focusing, and dynamic vibration absorption.
