CARY, N.C. (October 5, 2004) — MTS Sensors announces a free upgrade to its liquid level gauge set-up software available for download at www.mtslevelsensors.com .
The MG version 3.00 software for DDA or Modbus digital sensors offers several enhanced features including data logging and analysis via Excel documents and charts. Ideal for remote monitoring, the software enables logging of product and interface levels, temperature and diagnostic functions. “This software upgrade makes it much easier to collect tank data for calibration, commissioning and monitoring of individual or groups of tanks,” said Liquid Level Product Manager, Adrian Totten.
He continues, “This is especially important during start-up and while system troubleshooting.”The software works by allowing the user to log data to a *.csv file, which may be opened using standard applications.
To log data from several tanks, the software scans each tank and saves the data under the tank address to which it is designated, ie: tankfarm 1.csv, tankfarm 2.csv.
