July 14, 2009 — The National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) launched NEMAcast, a podcast that focuses on news, information, and opportunities of interest to the electroindustry. According to NEMA President and CEO Evan R. Gaddis, NEMAcast represents the most recent step the association has taken to keep its members and others abreast of current issues. “This is an exciting new medium that will provide timely information on Smart Grid, the economy, energy efficiency, government policies, and the environment from specialists in their fields,” he said.
“It is yet another example of how NEMA is at the forefront of today’s hot issues in the electroindustry.” NEMAcast has several channels, each with a particular focus:
- Smart Grid ChannelAs a driving force behind the development of a national Smart Grid, NEMA interviews industry experts to find out how Smart Grid will affect consumers, manufacturers, and the nation.
- Energy Efficiency ChannelEnergy efficiency, renewable energy, and energy storage are topics that affect everything from national security to your pocketbook.
- Inside the Electroindustry ChannelInside the Electroindustry gives you the inside scoop on a wide range of industry opportunities and developments.
- Electric Minute ChannelSubscribe to the Electric Minute Channel to hear headlines from the electroindustry.
