July 7, 2016 - Neousys Technology, a provider of rugged computer platforms, has announced the release of Nuvo-6000 series, a fanless box-pc based on Intel 6th-Gen Skylake platform. It has 5 PCIe/PCI slots to provide the same level of expandability as traditional IPCs, while its fanless design offers reliability.
Powered by Intel 6th-Gen LGA1151 socket-type CPU, Nuvo-6000 series delivers up to 30% CPU performance improvement over former CPU generations. It features front-accessible I/O, such as GbE, USB 3.0 and COM ports, for general industrial usage. And the combination of x16 PCIe, x8 PCIe and PCI slots allows the installation of add-on cards for vision and motion applications.
Two derivative models are available for Nuvo-6000 series. Nuvo-6032 has 5-slot capacity and the slimmer Nuvo-6002 offers two PCIe slots. With versatile mounting options, customers can easily fit it to a desktop, DIN rail, cabinet or a 19” rack. Nuvo-6000 series creates the path to upgrade bulky IPC systems to a more compact solution.
