New NH Fuses from Cooper Bussmann Provide Electrical OEMs with Globally-Compliant Fuse Line

LOUIS, November 16, 2005 – Cooper Bussmann unveiled a new line of standards-compliant fuses for global manufacturers and exporters of electrical equipment.The new Cooper Bussmann NH fuses comply with IEC60269, the standard of choice for electrical customers worldwide. The fuses are also lead and cadmium-free, so they meet the most stringent environmental standards in place today worldwide. Dual-indication NH industrial fuse links provide ultra-reliable visual indication, with the ability to actuate micro-switches for remote indication of operation.

NH fuses also reduce energy consumption, with the 400V DIN fuse offering the lowest power losses in the industry. Other features include 400Vac and 500Vac rated voltages; an interrupting rating of 120kA and an operating frequency of 45-62 Hz; and silver-plated copper full contact blades.
