November 19th, 2013 - Ocean Data Systems is now a member of the OPC Foundation, an organization dedicated to ensuring interoperability in automation by creating and maintaining open specifications that standardize the communication to multi-vendor systems, from plant floor sensors and controls, to enterprise business solutions.
Joining the OPC Foundation will provide Ocean Data Systems with access to the latest technology and domain experts, ensuring that Dream Report will continue to deliver excellent support for this standard. Dream Report currently offers OPC Real-time data connectivity through OPC DA, Alarm and event message connectivity through OPC AE and Historic Data connectivity through OPC HDA, in addition to its vast array of both business standard and proprietary interfaces.
