Okuma and OPEN MIND will collaborate on 4 and 5-axis projects using multi-function mill-turn and hybrid technology on Okuma machine tools.

August 27, 2018 – Okuma America Corporation, a builder of CNC machine tools, announces that OPEN MIND Technologies, a developer of CAD/CAM solutions and 5-axis technology for machine tools has joined Partners in THINC.

OPEN MIND’S hyperMILL is a CAM solution with 2.5D, 3D, 5-axis milling and turning strategies, as well as specialty applications, that are all available one interface.

Okuma and OPEN MIND will collaborate on 4 and 5-axis projects using multi-function mill-turn and hybrid technology on Okuma machine tools.
