OLDI introduces eATM-OPC UA Server for ControlLogix
The eATM-OPC UA is a ControlLogix module that provides OPC UA Server functionality in the chassis so a ControlLogix system can exchange data with OPC UA clients.

November 1, 2013 - Online Development (OLDI) releases their OPC UA Server module for ControlLogix.

The eATM-OPC UA is a ControlLogix module that provides OPC UA Server functionality in the chassis. As a result, the ControlLogix system can exchange data with OPC UA clients. The OLDI module supports on-the-fly structure creation for unknown data types including complex data created from User Defined Tags in the ControlLogix program.

OLDI worked closely with The OPC Foundation to ensure the OPC UA Server provides the latest in data transfer support and also with Unified Automation in testing the module with their OPC client products.

“The addition of the OPC UA Server module demonstrates our commitment to providing a variety of data transfer options for ControlLogix,” said Ron Monday, CEO of OLDI. “By offering this module, we’re addressing customers who want chassis-based OPC UA connectivity.”
