Improve product and data tracking within a single manufacturing line or throughout and entire supply chain. Omron’s advance Auto Identification solutions offer the durability and advanced function you need.

2D Matrix and Bar Code Readers

Omron’s model V530 fixed 2D matrix code readers optimize information management. 2D matrix codes are quickly becoming the industry standard for product manufacturing tracking and traceability. Software-free setup, industry’s steepest camera angle and compact EEPROM memory make these the market’s most versatile. Fixed and hand-held readers are available. The Model V500 series bar code readers are an easily integrated, automatic identification option.

These bar code readers recognize multiple symbologies and automatically adjust for deviations in label color, quality, orientation and reflectance, allowing you to run multiple products without losing time due to changeovers.

Radio Frequency ID Systems

Integrate wireless data tracking and remove human error by using a radio frequency identification system (RFID). RFID combines reusable data carriers (tags) that can withstand harsh environments and hold up to 8 Kbytes of information with antennas that can read and write to single and multiple tags simultaneously. Controllers route the data “how” and “where” you want it via serial or parallel communications, PLC, or DeviceNet interfaces.
