October 2, 2008 - Online Development added a new video demonstration on its website. The video shows how the company’s cATM (Controller Appliance Transaction Module) module can configure and exchange data between Allen-Bradley ControlLogix PACs and installed Allen-Bradley PLCs without the need for programming message instructions. The demonstration provides an overview of the cATM module’s capabilities including a listing of new and legacy Allen-Bradley controllers that can be used with the module. The configuration segment of the demonstration shows how the module’s browser-based setup utility automatically recognizes all connected controllers, as well as their tag and register data.
It also shows how specific controller data can be simply dragged and dropped in read or write windows for exchange. Configuring events to trigger data exchanges is also explained.

Since its founding in 1989, the company has led the industry in developing the technologies needed to provide very easy-to-use, yet highly effective, connectivity and data management between various proprietary devices and systems. In addition to its lines of appliance transaction modules, it also develops and manufactures controller modules for Rockwell Automation and ProSoft Technology.
