September 19, 2012 - Onyx Industries releases the Command Tower Line of Industrial Stack Lights. Command Tower Indicator Lights feature all metal housings, made of polished 16 gauge 304 stainless steel or mildsteel with nickel plating or powder coat (black). Name plate data is permanently marked, including wiring diagrams, into the metal housing. The base is a "hockey puck" piece of solid die cast aluminum with a nickel plated finish. All Command Towers use high luminous output LED's for long life and exceptional brightness based on a patent pending optic design.
Colors available include Red, Yellow, Green, Blue, or White and can be supplied with colored lenses (standard) or with white diffusing lenses using colored LED's behind them. 1 to 5 color segments in any color order from top to bottom may be configured. There are 5 sizes providing a fit for small to very large equipment. All units mount with a internal 1/2-NPS pipe thread. Onyx Industries offers accessories supporting panel mount, pole mounting or pole mounting with various bases & brackets.
All accessories are fabricated from Metal. All units are offered in 24Vdc with a 120V option to the 251 variation. Wiring is via an integral PVC jacketed multi-conductor cable that is flex duty rated. Optionally, units can be purchased with M12 quick disconnect connectors installed at a 6" pigtail. All units allow for an integral buzzer with sound dampener allowing adjustment of audible output from ~70-103db.
Command Tower introduces 2 unique features to the market:
- Back-lit text/symbols inside the lens for improved visual alerting.
- Illuminated Buzzer Cap where the Cap may be illuminated concurrently with the buzzer or independently (as an additional color segment).
This can add priority to a buzzer alert or allow operators to distinguish which machine in an area with many machines requires attention.
Or it can simply be another segment to a stack light (operating as a 6th segment).
The Command Tower Illuminated Buzzer Cap supports Red, Yellow, Green or Blue operation.
