ORTEC introduces RadEAGLET Radioisotope Identification Device
The RadEAGLET uses a multi-agent system-based algorithm that provides superior speed and accuracy for radioisotope detection and identification. This algorithm is intended to reduce the false ID’s and false alarms exhibited by older generation systems.

January 1, 2018 – The ORTEC Products Group of AMETEK’s Material Analysis Division has again partnered with innoRIID on a Radioisotope Identification Device (RIID). This latest addition to the RadEAGLE family of RIIDs is the RadEAGLET.

RadEAGLET is a smaller version of the RadEAGLE RIID. It uses the same validated algorithms and stabilization methodology. The RadEAGLET further reinforces ORTEC’s commitment to the scintillation-based RIID business segment and complements ORTEC’s Detective line of germanium(HPGe)-based RIIDS.
