December 8, 2006 - Oxford Sensor Technology (OST) is pleased to announce its appointment as an Integration Partner for the Sick/IVP range of high speed line scan cameras and profiling systems. The series includes: 1. IVC-3D – A camera that combines the flexibility of a smart camera and the power of high-speed 3D imaging. 2. Ranger – A Highspeed 3D camera with multi-scan measurement capability 3.
Ruler – 3D scanning for tough environments OST-QuickLocator, OST’s advanced vision analysis software, connects directly to the IVP Ranger enabling fast accurate 3d visualisation, location and inspection of a diverse array of products from food to vehicle bodies. Currently OST is installing a multiple Ranger camera system at a leading vehicle manufacturer and has enquires for several more systems. OST will use its expertise in machine vision and robot guidance to provide fully integrated “turn key” solutions to inspection and robot guidance requirements, providing customers with the very best in reliable imaging technology.
The Sick/IVP range complements OST’s existing range of innovative sensor technology and comes at the end of another very busy and successful year for Oxford Sensor Technology.
