Panasonic Connect North America is showcasing AI and automation on the factory floor by unveiling next-generation smart factory solutions at APEX EXPO 2026.

NEWARK, N.J., March 9, 2026 — Panasonic Connect North America is showcasing AI and automation on the factory floor by unveiling next-generation smart factory solutions at APEX EXPO 2026 (booth #2103), taking place March 16-19 in Anaheim, CA.

In addition to hands-on demonstrations that highlight how the company’s innovations drive real-world customer success, Panasonic Connect will host a series of 15-minute Tech Sessions focused on key industry topics, including artificial intelligence.

The company will also feature a new Auto-Setting Feeder designed to reduce feeder loading and replenishment time by more than 50 percent, along with live machine demonstrations of the following:

  • NPM-GP/L Next-Generation Printer: Screen printer that optimizes Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and enhances overall line performance due to advanced quality, automation and maintenance monitoring features. The NPM-GP/L delivers a 12-second printing cycle time with ±3.8 μm repeated positioning accuracy, enabling faster production without compromising precision.
  • NPM-GH Autonomous Labor Saving Factory Solution: Pick-and-place machine that maximizes output using three newly designed heads, features predictive and targeted maintenance options to maximize uptime, and shorter spindle stokes that reduce pick and place times and vibrations for higher output and accuracy with minimal human interface on the factory floor.
  • NPM-GW Autonomous High-Capacity Manufacturing Solution: Modular placement machine that delivers automated, labor-saving solutions to tackle today’s toughest manufacturing demands by boosting productivity, enhancing PCB adaptability and enabling remote operation.

“Labor challenges, supply chain disruptions, and rising costs continue to affect the manufacturing sector. Technology provides an opportunity to address these challenges directly, enabling manufacturers to stay agile and competitive amid uncertainty,” said Scott Zerkle, associate director of Technical Operations at Panasonic Connect. “We’re changing the way factories operate by developing intelligent machines that are truly making a difference on the factory floor. Our SMT platforms help drive growth and long-term success for our customers, regardless of their operation’s mix or production volume.”
