Parvalux adds IEC and NEMA flanges to motors

15 November, 2007
IEC B14 and NEMA standard flanges and shafts fit their complete range of permanent magnet (PM) motors.

November 15, 2007 - Parvalux offers a series of IEC B14 and NEMA standard flanges and shafts for their complete range of permanent magnet (PM) motors. This means that their motors can now carry a European or North-American standardised interface if needed. For each motor size the standards stipulate: hole centre distance (also referred to as Pitch Circle Diameter), hole diameter, shaft length, shaft diameter and flange diameter. This new option allows Parvalux DC motors to interface with a much wider range of gearboxes as well as providing a standardised interface for pulleys and gears. Customers can download CAD diagrams of both the IEC B14 and NEMA standards for each Permanent Magnet motor model from the Parvalux website.
