July 11, 2008 – PAS appointed Grant Ostvig Managing Director for its Middle East operations. Mr. Ostvig held various management positions at Honeywell for over 30 years and spent over half of his career in international sales for process control, representing Honeywell on five continents. He graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Physics and also received an MBA from the University of Minnesota. As Managing Director, Mr.
Ostvig will have overall responsibility for PAS’ business in the Middle East region. He will be based in Dubai, UAE. Mr. Carrigan who has managed PAS’ business in the Middle East region for the past four years is returning to North America to assume a leadership role at the PAS headquarters in Houston, Texas. Under the leadership of Mr.
Mark Carrigan, PAS quadrupled its business and became the largest provider of comprehensive alarm management solutions in the region. With Mr. Ostvig’s vast experience in the process industries, he is sure to continue the growth of PAS’ business in the Middle Region. “We at PAS are pleased to welcome Grant to our team and look forward to him helping us strengthen our leadership position in the Middle East,” said Bijan Habibi, Vice-president of International Business. “As part of this transition, Mark Carrigan will work closely with Grant and will continue to be involved with the business”.
