Harrisburg, PA - Phoenix Contact has added three new series of double level, high temperature, SMT compatible PCB terminal block headers to its extensive PCB product family. Available in a wide range of pin spacings, these headers feature low space requirements and high contact density.

The MCD 0.5…-HT is available with a 2.5mm pin spacing and the MCD 1.5…-THT has a 3.81mm pin spacing header.

The third in the series, the MCDN 1.5…-THT, is a low profile, high density header on 3.5mm spacing. Each series is available in horizontal or vertical configurations with screw flanges or plastic locking latches as options. These high temperature terminal blocks allow parts to be easily integrated into surface mount production processes, eliminating hand soldering and providing cost and time savings.

Together, these series represent the highest density, lowest profile terminal block headers available today.Phoenix Contact Inc. Quality System is registered to ISO 9001: 2000 - Quality Systems Model for Quality Assurance in design, development, production, installation and servicing.

Information on the double level headers is available from Phoenix Contact Inc., Technical Service Department, 800-322-3225, E-mail: [email protected] .
