The FL-COM SERVER RS-232 interface offers easy integration of virtually any RS-232 device onto a 10/100BaseT Ethernet network, therefore allowing access to any device with a serial port. The advantages of networked serial devices include access to and control of these devices via the LAN, WAN and Internet without expensive equipment and network upgrades.The rugged FL-COM SERVER RS-232 provides users with industrial features such as: wide range DC power supply, DIN-rail mounting, three-way isolation, surge protection, and redundant power supply capabilities.
Popular industrial protocols such as MODBUS RTU and MODBUS TCP, and TCP/IP are supported at no additional cost. Setup is easily done through popular web-based browsers such as Internet Explorer and Netscape Communicator.
