Phoenix Contact introduces PTPOWER 95 high-current terminals
The PTPOWER 95 provides spring connection for wires up to 4/0 AWG.

November 6, 2014 – Phoenix Contact introduces PTPOWER 95 push-in technology terminal blocks for high-power applications of wires up to 4/0 AWG than screw connectors traditionally used in these applications. The PTPOWER 95 uses Phoenix Contact’s Power Turn technology, a short lever movement to open and close the termination area. When the user inserts the conductor, the termination area opens. The springs are now loose and not kinetically charged, achieving an extra level of safety. This feature makes the PTPOWER 95 a finger-safe spring terminal block for larger conductors.

Conductors can also be pushed in with the termination area closed, another unique feature. All PTPOWER terminal blocks have side entry for easier conductor routing without the need to accommodate a bending radius. The PTPOWER 95 line includes numerous accessories for maximum flexibility from testing to power distribution The 17 different versions include blocks prebuilt with three to five positions, black/yellow functional earth (FE), potential earth (PE) and both DIN rail and panel-mount versions. PTPOWER 95 is rated per UL for 230 A at 1000 V and accepts 4 to 4/0 AWG wire sizes.
