August 11, 2010 - Phoenix Contact’s pre-assembled rail makes wireless projects easier. The rail features components typically used in wireless remote monitoring and control applications, especially in the oil and gas, water/wastewater and electrical utility industries. Packaging the parts under a single part number reduces the required in-ventory and simplifies the shipping, design and installation. Components include:
- Two input terminal blocks – one in green and one in gray for easy VIN identification
- 3 A TMC thermal-magnetic circuit breaker
- 1.3 A MINI power supply
- 120 V Type 3 surge protection
- End caps for component stability on the rail
All components are mounted (but not wired) on a 13.1-inch DIN rail. The extended rail length accommodates Phoenix Contact I/O, data or one-way radio systems.
