December 10, 2015 - Phoenix Contact releases product app that provides product information.
The app acts as a digital library. Phoenix Contact will release multiple issues per year, depending on the number of new products introduced. Once the user has downloaded the app, periodic issues will appear in the library for download when available. The fall 2015 issue features:
- VAL-MS AR series
- Rogowski Coil
- Radioline
- M23 Hybrid connectors
- Heavycon EVO
This is the second issue available. Products introduced in the spring issue included Designline industrial PC, North American Cordsets, MINI PRO analog signal conditioners, ME-IO housing, mGuard Secure Cloud, and QUINT power supplies and UPS solutions.
The app’s slide-show format takes the user through all of the basic information about each featured product, including videos and application suggestions. The cover page of the app doubles as a table of contents, from which the user can touch any product buttons and be directed to that product’s associated content. A button feature in the bottom left-hand corner of each slide will return the user to the table of contents. Another button in the bottom right corner will return the user to the top of the page.
