February 22, 2013 - The User Guidelines of the PLCopen specifications on Motion Control contain easy-to-understand application examples and show how to create user-derived function blocks to add to a company specific library, improving the reusability of the application programs. These examples help the user to better understand the PLCopen Motion Control functionality and to get started with their first application programs. Also it can be used for teaching.

This document is released as version 2.0.

With this new release, the set of PLCopen Motion Control Specifications consist of the following cooperating parts: Part 1 - with the basic functionalities Part 2 - being integrated in Part 1 Part 3 - the update part with the user guidelines Part 4 - for coordinated motion Part 5 - with the homing procedures Part 6 - with additional functionalities for hydraulics
