August 21, 2017 – Polytron Devices has launched a series of universal input AC-DC power supplies for medical applications. The MUI30 boasts 85 to 264 Vac universal input range, 47 to 63 Hz input frequency and low leakage current under 100 microamps.
For use in applications up to 30 watts, the MUI30 offersefficiency up to 95% and anoperating temperature range of -40º to +85ºC. It also integrates 2 MOPP insulation, 4000 Vac reinforced isolation and 5,000 m operating altitude.
The MUI30 meets all medical safety standards, including IEC/EN/ANSI/AAMI ES60601-1 and IEC/EN/UL 60950-1. It is available in a 2.89” x 1.50” x 1.00” pin-type package.
Other available packages include terminal block and din rail.
Devices are now available at a price of US$29.75 at 1000 quantity. Small quantity orders are available immediately, while larger orders have a lead time of 4 to 6 weeks.
