Premo introduces HCT-DHR420 Hall Effect current sensor
HCT-DHR420 measures power supply current, indicates how the motor and load are operating, and has a 4-20mA output.

May 18, 2011 - HCT-DHR420 Hall Effect sensors measure output current in the range of 20 up to 1000 Amps and provide a 4 to 20mA output. Such True RMS sensing is the most accurate way to measure power supply and it is also used to indicate how the motor and load are operating. The true rms function is able to measure pulse signals. The series provides a linearity <0.5% with a ±1% accuracy levels.

The bandwidth is up to 6kHz with a response time is below 200ms. The offset drift versus temperature is as low as 0.5uA/ºC and consumption of the circuit is only 30mA at no current condition. The current sensor is designed in order to meet the highest safety requirements and is fully isolated with plastic housing, meeting isolation values higher than 4000 Vac. It is fully accordance to below standards
