The built-in Loop Resistor and taps for both a DMM and a HART modem make this a great productivity enhancing tool. If you need to read loop current, simply plug your DMM into the DMM tap on the PowerXpress. No wires to move and no need to open the loop. Need HART Communications? Then simply plug in your HART modem to the HART tap and start your DevCom2000 software. No need to break the loop to insert a 250 ohm loop resistor. It is already done for you.
