ProComSol introduces HM-USB-PWR USB HART Modem
The HM-USB-ISO HART modem meets industry standards for USB connectivity. The USB interface is compatible with both USB 1.1 and USB 2.0 standards. The HART interface also meets the HART physical layer specification HCF_SPEC-54.

July 31, 2017 – ProComSol announced the release of a new USB HART Modem that includes a +24Vdc power supply to power HART instruments. The HM-USB-PWR only requires two connections. First, connect it to the USB port on a PC or laptop. The USB connection provides both power and the communication modem to a device configuration application. Then connect the mini-grabber cable to a HART transmitter.

The HM-USB-ISO HART modem meets industry standards for USB connectivity. The USB interface is compatible with both USB 1.1 and USB 2.0 standards. The HART interface also meets the HART physical layer specification HCF_SPEC-54.

The power supply also meets international standards. The device can be used in 3 modes - a modem only mode, a power supply only mode or a power plus modem mode. An included 110/220 Vac power adapter can be used to power the HART transmitter and modem when a USB port is not available.
