August 1, 2014 - Profichip joins EtherCAT Technology Group.
In the past years EtherCAT has become a worldwide accepted new standard in automation and control. In November 2003 the EtherCAT Technology Group (ETG) was founded and it has grown up to about 2700 members from 56 countries in March, 2014. With profichip´s EtherCAT solutions manufactures are getting another source to integrate this technology into their automation products. profichip´s EtherCAT Master and Slave ASICs can be used in all devices in the factory network such as automation controllers, operator interfaces, remote input/output units, sensors, actuators, drives and others.
