August 1, 2012 - Progea adds Hitachi Ethernet driver to Movicon SCADA/HMI Software. Movicon 11 communication driver which consents extremely easy and direct connections to PLC controllers from the Hitachi family. This new driver meets the demands of Asian and American markets where the Japanese Hitachi are one of the strongest global players. Thanks to this new driver users can now connect to the Hitachi PLC EH (compact) and EHV (modular) PLC device services, using the Ethernet interface aboard the PLCs or by plugging it in by means of an additional module.
The Movicon driver enables total CPU data area exchange from the EH series and a major part of the CPUs from the EH series, by implementing the “Ethernet H – protocol.” This driver is downloadable from the Progea website free of charge for all registered Movicon Community users.
