March 25, 2014 - Progea releases version 11.4 of Movicon multitouch HMI software. This edition is fully compatible with the previous solution and offers optimized performance as well as new functionalities, while maintaining the principles of modularity and open structure. Multitouch support opens the door to direct operator interaction: Pinch&Zoom and Pan functions on the Main screen allow for clearer viewing, while list panning and page scrolling bring about even more intuitive navigation. In addition, double-tapping improves operator security.
Diagnostic functions and OPC-driven communication management functions are added, along with functionalities for setting the call sequence when notifying a user group, and extended printer support in Windows CE. The Movicon 11.4 release can be downloaded free of charge from the download section of the Progea website.
