The new GC-Series cameras from Prosilica are believed to be the smallest gigabit Ethernet cameras in the world.
Measuring 4.3 x 4.6 x 3.3 cm, these GigE Vision™ compliant cameras weigh as little as 99 grams. Small size, light weight and low power consumption make these cameras idea for semiconductor inspection, avionics and robotic applications.
The new GC-Series cameras have all the outstanding performance features found in other Prosilica’s cameras including region of interest readout, binning modes to 8x8 pixels, high frame rates, and various color output modes including RGB. The cameras also include on-camera color interpolation, rugged design, and excellent software development kit and much more. Prosilica engineered every detail of these cameras -- electronics, gigabit Ethernet interface, drivers, and software -- and are thus able to provide camera performance and technical support that exceeds its competitors. Prosilica’s GigE Vision gigabit Ethernet interface is capable of sustained data rates of 125 MByte/s on standard Ethernet cable up to 100 meters long.
A resend mechanism ensures very high levels of data integrity that far exceed other camera interfaces such as cameralink, USB, and even firewire.
