November 22, 2011 - Q-Sys introduces a Gantry System with a granite base and beam construction. The linear motor driven gantry is suitable for applications such as laser stencil cutting and high speed optical inspection.
The integral Z axis is suitable for autofocus use and the gantry delivers XY contouring accuracy better than 10 microns. With repeatability better than 1 micron over travels of 600x600mm and 2g acceleration, this system can be integrated to any of a number of motion controllers to suit new or existing applications.
