December 11, 2019 – Reliable Controls announced that SMART-Sensor and SMART-Sensor Electronic Paper Display (EPD) devices are now available with an optional volatile organic compound sensor.
The SMART-Sensor is a a networked-sensor solution that allows users to connect with up to 10 configurable parameters related to the space.
SMART-Sensor devices can be ordered with a volatile organic compound sensor that provides relevant air quality measurement for the comfort and health of building occupants.
VOC sensor features include the following:
- 0–32,767 ppb range.
- Resolution: 1 ppb (0–2,008 ppb); 6 ppb (2,009–11,110 ppb); 32 ppb (11,111–32,767 ppb).
- Accuracy typically 25 percent of measured value.
- Automatic background calibration.
- Automatic humidity measurement.
