Virtually everything available on the main site is now available in a mobile format for smartphones and tablets.

October 22, 2012 - Rittal Corporation launched a mobile version of its corporate website that represents nearly a 100 percent replication of the extensive site. Virtually everything available on that site is now available in a mobile friendly format for smartphones and tablets running virtually any mobile operating system.

Included within the new mobile site are significant features designed to make this an extremely versatile and useful tool, especially for touch-enabled devices. Two of the newest features prominent on the Internet site and now fully functional as mobile versions are Rittal’s new SmartSelect and QuickQuotes tools. These applications make finding the right enclosure solution and putting together a complete bill of materials including the enclosure, climate control and accessories both quick and easy.

Not only can customers access the mobile version of the Rittal website, but they can also access nearly all of the interactive elements of the main site, including product certifications and technical drawings for nearly every product in the line.

“Considering the restrictions of developing applications for smaller mobile devices, and the demands of making this work across those different hardware and software platforms, we think this addition is an extraordinary accomplishment,” says Jim Nichols, Vice President of Marketing and Service at Rittal. “Given the recent proliferation of smartphones and tablets, with our mobile site we believe we are fully prepared to deliver 100% of the product information our customers demand no matter when and how they retrieve it,” he adds.ÔÅÆ
