Rockwell Automation and Aparian introduce PMIO scanner
The I/O scanner acts as a direct communication interface between the Rockwell Automation controller and the Honeywell I/O network for complete connectivity, so users can use their existing I/O and field wiring.

May 17, 2019 - The PMIO Scanner from Aparian, an Encompass Partner in the Rockwell Automation PartnerNetwork, allows producers to use a phased modernization approach to reduce the risk, time and cost of DCS migrations.

The PMIO Scanner works to help simplify conversion from legacy Honeywell TDC 3000 systems to the PlantPAx DCS from Rockwell Automation through small, phased steps.

The I/O scanner acts as a direct communication interface between the Rockwell Automation controller and the Honeywell I/O network for complete connectivity, so users can use their existing I/O and field wiring. At the same time, it allows users to take advantage of the full range of the Connected Enterprise capabilities the PlantPAx DCS offers.
