Manufacturers across a wide range of industries benefit from improved speed, power and connectivityMILWAUKEE, March 22, 2007 — Rockwell Automation offers increased power, speed and expanded communication capabilities with new enhancements to the Allen Bradley MicroLogix 1100 family of industrial controllers. The controllers meet the needs of various applications across a multitude of industries, with control, communication and visualization in one compact system. “Featuring advanced communication capabilities, the MicroLogix 1100 family of controllers offers similar functionality as other high-end controllers on the market, but at a much lower price point,” said Pete Bell, MicroLogix product marketing manager, Rockwell Automation.

“Enhancements to communications and the Web server enable customers to share information quickly and cost-effectively across all levels of the enterprise.” Series B MicroLogix 1100 controllers will include an onboard Ethernet Web server with the ability to notify users of production faults via e-mail.
