Tecno Center makes ball screw-driven actuators, and belt-driven and rack and pinion-driven gantries.

March 10, 2015 – Rollon, a manufacturer of linear motion systems, acquired Italian company Tecno Center.

“The Tecno Center acquisition enables us to deliver new, complementary technologies to our customers, support many new applications and provide a higher level of integrated systems expertise,” said Rick Wood, Rollon Corp’s managing director. “In particular, some of the more complex motion systems produced by Techno Center will enable us to deliver high-performance solutions in the domestic appliance, automotive and machine tool sectors.” Since 1971, Tecno Center’s products have been used in a wide array of applications such as sheet metal-handling, stamp presses, laser cutters, press automation for feeding appliances, assembly, automotive engine block manipulation and pipe-handling.

New products to be launched in the United States over the coming months will include a linear guide with counter balance for vertical axis, a new range of ball screw-driven actuators, and belt-driven and rack and pinion-driven gantries up to 12 meters long created from just one piece of extrusion.
