Rotork acquires GTA Group

GTA Group includes GT Attuatori Srl, GT Attuatori Europe and Max Process, manufacturers of rack and pinion pneumatic valve actuators.

October 7, 2013 - Rotork acquired the GTA Group, comprising of GT Attuatori Srl, GT Attuatori Europe GmbH and Max Process GmbH. GT Attuatori was established in 1963 and is a leading manufacturer of rack and pinion pneumatic valve actuators. The product range encompasses single and double acting actuators, solenoid valves, switchboxes and mounting accessories, providing packaged valve solutions for flow control applications in many industrial processes. For safety critical duties, the actuators are available with SIL3 certification to IEC international standards 61508 and 61511. The GTA Group is based in Italy and Germany, where the company also has a centre of excellence.

Commenting on the acquisition, Rotork Chief Executive Peter France said: “The acquisition of GTA brings to the Rotork family of companies one of the longest established, best regarded, rack and pinion actuator manufacturers in our markets. The acquisition will further enhance the range of products Rotork offers to our customers.”
